The Blended Learning Leader Academy is a nine-month professional learning program designed for a cohort of educators (classroom teachers, instructional leaders/coaches, curriculum specialists, etc.) from your organization. Through a blended format, teams will engage in face-to-face professional learning days, collaborative web sessions, monthly personalized learning opportunities and ongoing collaboration and coaching with educational experts from the Schoology Learning team.

The Blended Learning Leader Academy is aligned to the ISTE Standards for Educators and received the Proficiency Seal of Alignment. ISTE reviewers found the program to be well-developed. In addition, ISTE reviewers highlighted that the professional learning program:

  • Transforms classrooms while maximizing the use of Schoology Learning platform tools.
  • Models best practice to combine face-to-face, synchronous, and asynchronous sessions to explore trends in digital learning.
  • Includes customizable learning pathways to deepen interests.
  • Engages with other school teams to collaborate and develop professional networks.

How It Works

Participants have the opportunity to collaborate with other PowerSchool Schoology Learning educators across the country as they design, implement, and refine dynamic lessons using a variety of blended learning models. Our team of educational experts will help stimulate the pedagogical shift to an effective blended learning environment in your organization, while also ensuring you’re utilizing Schoology Learning at the highest levels possible.

Program Information

  • Three face-to-face days of professional learning.
  • Monthly synchronous or asynchronous learning.
  • Virtual support, coaching, and collaboration with an educational expert on the Schoology Learning team.
  • Global networking opportunities with educators in the program.
  • Participants receive a digital badge and certificate upon successful completion of the program.
  • Up to 6 hours of graduate credit is available for an additional fee paid directly to the university.

In addition, users on Customer Education Campus will have the opportunity to follow role-based learning paths and take quick mini lessons:
